How to Install Air Filters?

Industrial filters come in many varieties. How should they be installed correctly? Below are common methods for installing industrial filters:

Installation 1 for Primary Panel Pleated Filters:

  1. Unpack the Filter
    Open the outer packaging and remove the clean air filter.
  2. Identify Airflow Direction
    Locate the arrow indicating the direction of airflow, pointing towards the air intake.
  3. Insert the Filter into the Unit
    Place the filter into the air conditioning unit (fan) slot.
  4. Secure the Filter at the Return Air Grille
    Return to the return air grille and insert the filter so that the arrow points towards the air intake.

Installation 2 for Medium & HEPA Separator Box Filters:

  1. Unpack the Filter
    Open the outer packaging and take out the clean air filter.
  2. Identify Airflow Direction
    Locate the arrow indicating the direction of airflow, pointing towards the air intake.
  3. Handle with Care
    Do not touch the filter media surface during installation.
  4. Fit the Filter Securely
    Securely fit the filter into the fan slot.
