HEPA Separator Box Filters

  • The filters designed are to allow system to control laminar air flow under high humidity. Hemmed edges on the aluminum reduce possible pleat damage. Low initial pressure media lengthen the life of filters and filters meet UL900 fire resistance.
  • The HEPA air filter is designed for being applied in pharmaceutical industry, food processing industry, hospitals, aerospace and cleanroom.

HEPA Separator Box Filter

The HEPA filters can be used in high humidity environments and provides laminar flow control, low initial pressure loss for extended lifespan and is UL900 certified to meet flame retardant ratings.
High efficiency filters with high temperature resistance are also available; these filters remove a wide range of airborne contaminants and act as final filters.

HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter) is an air filtration efficiency level that can remove 99.97% or more of particles over 0.3 microns in diameter. HEPA filters are made of thousands of extremely fine fibers that can trap both small and larger particles.
They are very effective in removing particles from the air. HEPA filters are made of chemical fibers and glass fibers, which are randomly arranged to form layers of fine, irregular filters that cut off airborne particles of different sizes.
The filters are classified as H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, and U15. Since different filters have different particle sizes, it is natural that they need to be replaced at different times.
When purchasing a filter, the filter specification will indicate the “Initial Pressure Loss”, which is the wind resistance of the new filter itself. As more particles are added to the filter, the air resistance will increase. Therefore, it is usually recommended to replace the filter when the air resistance reaches 2 to 3 times of the initial pressure loss of the filter.
Take our high efficiency HEPA as an example, at a specific airflow (different sizes will be tested at different airflows) the pressure loss is 250 pa right out of the factory, and when the pressure drop reaches to 500 pa, which require to replace it. (9.8 pa = 1 mm water gauge)
