Benefits
- High efficiency filtration: Disposable HEPA filters effectively capture at least 99.97% of particles above 0.3 microns, including dust, pollen, bacteria and viruses, ensuring the highest standards of air quality.
- Convenience: Due to its disposable design, this filter does not require complicated cleaning or maintenance procedures at the end of its service life, and can simply be replaced with a new filter, making it extremely convenient for users.
- Cost Effective: Disposable HEPA filters are typically less costly than washable and reusable filters, providing a cost-effective alternative for those who need to replace their filters on a regular basis.
- Reduces the risk of cross-contamination: The disposable design reduces the risk of cross-contamination that can occur during cleaning and maintenance and is particularly suitable for environments where strict control of contamination is required, such as medical and laboratory facilities.
- Wide range of applications: Due to its high filtration capacity and ease of use, the High Efficiency Disposable HEPA Filter is suitable for a wide range of applications, including homes, offices, schools, hospitals and industrial facilities.
These advantages of high-efficiency disposable HEPA filters make them a practical choice for improving air quality and maintaining a healthy environment, especially for those who have a high demand for air purification but want simple maintenance.
HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter) is an air filtration efficiency level that can remove 99.97% or more of particles over 0.3 microns in diameter. HEPA filters are made of thousands of extremely fine fibers that can trap both small and larger particles.
They are very effective in removing particles from the air. HEPA filters are made of chemical fibers and glass fibers, which are randomly arranged to form layers of fine, irregular filters that cut off airborne particles of different sizes.
HEPA filters are classified as H10, H11, H12, H13, H14, and U15. Since different filters have different particle sizes, it is natural that they need to be replaced at different times.
When purchasing a filter, the filter specification will indicate the “Initial Pressure Loss”, which is the wind resistance of the new filter itself. As more particles are added to the filter, the air resistance will increase. Therefore, it is usually recommended to replace the filter when the air resistance reaches 2 to 3 times of the initial pressure loss of the filter.
Take our high efficiency HEPA as an example, at a specific airflow (different sizes will be tested at different airflows) the pressure loss is 250 pa right out of the factory, and when the pressure loss comes to 500 pa, it means it’s time to replace it. (9.8 pa = 1 mm water column)
